Dr. Arif Akhtar is a Uro -Surgeon with more than 13 years of surgical experience in the field of kidney disease and malignancy of the genitourinary tract. He has done more than 10,000 surgeries related to cancer, kidney stones, prostate disease, and female problems associated with urination. He also has performed more than 400 successful kidney transplants with good outcomes and patient satisfaction. 

Dr. Arif has vast experience in advanced laparoscopic and endo-urology. He has rich exposure in the management of various renal, ureteral, bladder, urethral, penile, scrotal, retroperitoneal, and genito-reproductive pathologies and urological trauma care.

Dr. Arif did his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from JN. Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. After that, he pursued Mch Urology (Magister Chirugiae) from the premiere Indian college and Hospital PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. He has practiced in many prestigious healthcare institutions in the country and performed several open or laparoscopic advanced surgical procedures including several minimally invasive and keyhole surgeries. He has a keen interest in robotic-assisted urological surgeries. He also has an extensive experience in reconstruction surgeries of both male and female genitourinary tract pathology and has written several national and international papers and books on such topics. He also has given several lectures and talks on urological diseases on international forums which have been widely acclaimed. He also has been bestowed with several international awards on global and Asian platforms. 

Dr. Arif Keeps sharing his experience and learning with new doctors through lectures and research articles. He actively participates in clinicopathologic conferences, uroradiology conferences, clinical meets, and international CMEs.
